Angus stood in the shower allowing the cold water to pour down on him. The heals of his palms where pressing onto his eyes as he leant back to have cold water down his face, as if that would help him think clearer. He already had several cold beers to help him relax and think a bit clearer but it didn't work.
As he moved into his bedroom, after finally getting dresses but he decide to remain shirtless. He lay on the bed trying to get his mind off an amazing girl but was hiding a secret which just turned his world upside down.
The image of Rachel was stuck on his mind, as if it had been super glued. Meeting Rachel at the swimming pool, bumping into Rachel again at Charlie's and later asking her out an date after giving away his mobile number, the image of Rachel on the date at Melbourne Club.
The worst image was when his sweeping glaze of his new class landed on his date, when the image of them having their first kiss popped into his mind.
No matter how he tried to distract himself from listening to loud music, to drinking ice cold beers to having a cold shower. He always found himself thinking about one thing: Rachel Kinski.
It was wrong, wrong to clarify. He couldn't let this happen, he only just started his career and he couldn't give into accept what he was feeling.
She was his student, his pupil ...
She was 16 not 19 and he was 23!
He was disgusted with his feelings and himself for feeling this way, he wanted to torture himself. He shouldn't be feeling this way about a student. Ok, they met before he was her teacher, but it was beside the point, as he now was her teacher.
He shouldn't feel this way, but he did. He did and he knew it. To make matters worse the chemistry was still there.
He'd tired to talk himself out of it. He'd been cold and bitter towards her, he'd pretend he wanted nothing more to do with her!
But he really wanted the complete opposite... He was in love and fancied the socks off Rachel Kinski and he hated himself for it.
How could he survive work now!
