The bar was loud and crowded, a group people who seemed to be regulars were shouting and celebrating God-knows-what. One of them stared as a dark haired woman entered the place. She was gorgeous he thought. The woman looked like she was in her middle 20's and was wearing a beautiful black dress that highlighted her blue eyes and pale skin even more. She didn't look like she was from this area of Brooklyn and she certainly didn't look like someone who would visit these kind of places. The guy kept staring at her as she sat alone in the corner. She looked upset and he decided he wanted to have fun. Drinking a few more sips of beer, he finally got up and walked towards her in a drunken state.

"May I invite you a drink?" He asked

"Thank you. I appreciate it. But I think want to be alone" She replied politely.

The guy was tall, dark-haired and gorgeous. He reminded her of someone from the past, but she wasn't interested and he smelled and looked like he had been drinking for way too long.

"I think you're beautiful" Of course he would not give up so easily, she thought.

"Well, thank you. Again. But I really want to be alone right now" Her voice sounding annoyed this time.

"What's the matter baby? I just want to have some fun." The guy said as he extended his right arm around her hips.

"Get off me!" she cried pushing him away. He stumbled and fell into the floor taking a couple of chairs and glasses with him. This can't end well, she thought.

"What do you think you're doing bitch?" He yelled at her trying to get up. He was obviously furious. He had done nothing wrong in his eyes and that bitch attacked him. "I'm gonna kill you!" he added

She looked at him scared. She's fought vampires and other evil creatures before. But this was her first time dealing with a drunk man whose friends didn't seem so friendly. And she was alone. At least that's what she thought.

"Don't dare to touch the lady!" She heard a british accent saying.

That's when she saw a bleached vampire, the one she thought she'd never see again after what happened in the hellmouth. Her mind razing with confusing thoughts. He had sacrificed himself for the world nine years ago how could it be him? She swore she felt her heart stop for a moment and then finally found her voice.

"Spike?"

He looked behind studying the face that was calling his name. Those blue eyes. He knew them. It was her, he remembered. But she looked so different. She looked older and not only physically. She wasn't the little girl he knew. Not anymore. She was elegant and her voice sounded so mature.

"Dawn?"
