Rolling and waving with swishes and spouts, the essence of rain and the sea,
This is called Water, the fountain of life, and imperative to all things that be.
The calmness of Water is steady and true, and resists the hot anger of Fire.
Add to this, that its quiet demeanor can spread, which causes most flames to retire.
Water has softness, and gentleness, too, which leads to a fact most profound.
For softness is not really weak, as they say, and conquers the hard Rock and Ground.
When soft faces hard, the softness shall reign, of this we should know to be real.
As such, the softness of Water can face and resist all the hardness of Steel.
Water is Water, an obvious fact, and thus it can't harm its own kind.
But even though it can't be harmed by the Ice, the Water is not so confined.
Water is giving, the essence of life, and nourishes beyond race and class.
And so it is weak to those who are greedy, and drained by the glutinous Grass.
Water is giving, and helpful as well, and provides the whole world with a road.
But abuse is its weakness, as Electric things know, for they overtravel to make it erode.
Water is gentle, is soft, and is kind, but rest quite assured, it is real.
But realness is, sadly, a limiting thing, and makes slaying Dragons an ordeal.
This is the nature of all the world's Water, the means by which all life must thrive.
So be like the gracious and bountiful Waters, and down into history, dive!
