Sirius' P.O.V.

Olivia Collins doesn't wear much jewellery. She doesn't have a favourite colour, because 'that would be unfair on all the other colours'. I've never seen her in a dress. She goes crazy if she has too many Chocolate Frogs, or too much Butterbeer. She loves watching Quidditch, but tried to play once, and ended up in the Hospital Wing for three days. She's a blonde Hufflepuff, but told me she secretly wanted to be a Slytherin, until she saw Snivellus. She loves reading. She cries in movies - not necessarily sad ones. She's a Muggleborn. She is great at Transfiguration, but only because she's convinced McGonagall is going to kill her. She loves Charms, and is rubbish at Potions. I snog her at least five times a day. I think I love her. It's her seventeenth birthday tomorrow, and I have no idea what to get her.

So that's how I ended up here, in Hogsmeade, in the middle of the night.

"You don't care this much about my birthday," Prongs grumbles.

"Yeah, well, if you don't like the present, I won't end up single."

"And besides, Olivia is The One, isn't she, Padfoot?"

I blush, glaring at Wormtail. "So what if she is?"

Moony's eyes lit up. "Is she? Because if she is, I have the best idea..."

NEXY DAY

Olivia's P.O.V

It's my birthday. I am officially an adult. I can do whatever I want. Apart from drive, but Sirius says that's probably safer.

Sirius Black is my boyfriend, by the way. I'd fancied him for ages, in a fan-girl sort of way. Then he asked me out. Insert very high-pitched, girly scream here. And a three-hour long phone call to Lizzy in the holidays. We're 'celebrating' tonight at Hogsmeade. Probably in a bathroom somewhere. Wink wink, nudge nudge.

So that night I dressed up in my favourite pair of jeans, and my new rainbow top. I got in a fight with Lily about shoes. She wanted me to wear heels, but I insisted on my pair of purple Doc Martins. I straightened my hair, and put on some make-up, then went down to the Common Room to meet Sirius.

Yum. How else do I describe him? There's a reason he's the most wanted boy in the school. I walk over to kiss him.

"Hey, beautiful," he greets me. I can feel him grin as he kisses me. "Happy birthday."

"Thanks. Where's my present?" I pout, trying to look upset.

He laughed. Merlin, he's hot when he laughs. "Just wait. Come on, we're going out."

We sneak out to Hogsmeade. We've done this loads of times before, but he seems nervous this time. His hand is sweating - gross, but kind of cute. Once we're out of Honeydukes, I grab both his hands and turn him toward me.

"What's the matter, Siri? Come on, spit it out."

He tugs at the end of his hair. "Well... It's just, Moony had this idea for your present, and I..."

"Go on, give to me. I'm sure I'll love it. And if I don't, I'll just laugh at you."

He grins nervously. "Yeah, all right, I will." And he drops to one knee.

My mouth falls open. Wow, I didn't expect that. Oh, Merlin, what do I say?

"Olivia, I'm in love with you. I love everything about you. And no one else makes me as happy as you do. So... Will you marry me?"

I throw myself at him, and he collapses under me. I kiss him hungrily. "Yes, I'll marry you. Merlin, of course I will!" I roll off him and do a little dance. I'm engaged!

He laughs, kissing me again. "I love you," he murmurs.

"Love you too."

Best. Birthday. Ever.
