Thanatos was scared. Most people would think that he could never be terrified, what with him being the god of death of all things. He dwelled in the darkness and was the slayer of all souls, he was the one who destroyed and never cared, it was his duty after all. So, when Thanatos came running to me, saying that he was scared of a certain son of Hades, well, I was surprised.

"You're an idiot. You know that?"

"Of course, I know that. Why do you think I'm pacing and hiding like I just strangled Olympus' favorite hero?"

"You're a freaking god of death. I didn't think you would react like this after getting rejected."

"It's rejection, Perseus. Things happen."

"So, how did Neeks do it, anyway that you're stressing like that?"

"He said he would think about it."

"Then what's your fucking problem. "

"He didn't say yes."

"He said, 'Maybe'. That's something, at least."

"But it's not a 'yes'!"

"But he rejected me!"
