A/N: a request from my good friend Jenny.
"I still can't believe the 'Great and Powerful Ogami Rei' has been reduced to lying in bed because of a cold." The blonde boy chuckled at the foot of the mattress bed.
"Shut...up." Ogami forced the words out through heavy breathes.
"I mean it's worse than being in Lost form since you're more weak now." He stated, giving Ogami's leg a pat.
The sick boy tried to give Toki his usual glare but it just ended up looking like he was in pain. The blond couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for his part time rival and friend. He moved over to where Ogami's head laid. Sweat drenched black hair clung to the boy's forehead and his cheeks were flustered. Despite himself, Toki found himself starring at the boy.
"What?" Ogami coughed out.
"Nothing." He answered, moving a strand of hair away. "It's just you look different lying here. It's kind of cute."
"Toki...I'll ki—"
"Yeah yeah I know. You'll kill me so shut the fuck up right?" Toki interrupted, rolling his eyes. "You need to get a better first to do that idiot. Now rest and don't worry I'll stay here to keep the big scary monsters away." He teased wearing his trademark smirk.
Too tired to reject the idea of him being scared of monsters, Ogami slipped into a calm slumber.
"Heh for such a strong head guy, you sleep like a baby Rei." Toki whispered, his hand still resting on Ogami's head. "Sweet dreams Rei...you deserve them."
