Disclaimer: I OWN NOTHING! I AM A HOBO!
Hermione Granger's brown eyes followed him. He was her everything, yet he knew nothing of her feelings. She didn't know if she would ever be able to tell him how she really felt.
The crowd cheered around her as Harry caught the snitch. She cheered with the rest of them and her heart swelled with pride. She wasn't proud that he had won, she was proud that no matter how many times he did win he never changed.
She joined the rest of the Gryffindors to congratulate the team. She smiled at Harry who gave her that wonderful smile that made her melt. Ron caught up to them and they walked back towards the common room.
"I need to go meet Luna, I'll see you guys later." Ron jogged off to catch up with Luna whom he had just spotted.
"I've never seen him so happy." Harry commented.
"Every time I see Luna it looks like she's floating on air." Hermione smiled, that was how she felt when she looked into those green eyes.
"You wanna go to Hogsemeade?" Harry asked her, his voice casual.
"Yeah, I need a new quill, and some more parchment."
Once they had finished their errands in Hogsemeade they wandered around the village together. Hermione studied Harry and smiled to herself. He comforted her, and she felt completely safe with him. They walked in companionable silence. Hermione and Harry were in their own little world. At first they didn't notice the chill in the air, and they didn't see the cloaked figures walking towards them.
"Silencio!" They were both hit with the charm and suddenly found themselves bound and at the mercy of the dark lord.
Hermione looked up at the cold red eyes of Lord Voldemort. The red eyes were focused on Harry. Voldemort pointed his wand at her, and Hermione felt the scream in her throat which couldn't escape into the night.
"Avada Kedavra." Said a cold high pitched voice.
Hermione felt an intense burst of pain in her chest and her voice was freed for a brief moment.
"I love you Harry." Hermione Granger slumped to the ground next to her love.
