Silverleaf Entanglements

by Galadriel Tolkien

In a wondrous wood, there lived an elf. He was a curious elf, neither happy nor sad. Sometimes he was glad, but mainly, he was bored. It had been a long time since he'd done anything interesting, and most of his kind had long since passed into the West, taking flight to the Grey Havens.

One night this elf walked under the stars, dreaming of something he knew not what. And then she came to him, as if in a dream.

A whisper of sound, a slight touch of silken skin, and she was gone, dancing from his grasp into the deep woods.

He followed her like a moth after bright light, never caring if it gets burned, only hungering for more.

She wove her spell under those dark trees, entangling him in her cares and webs, and he found himself lost to everything but an unsatisfied need and want for her.

And she came to him, melding their bodies as their hearts had touched. Ecstacy claimed them both, for a time loneliness abated.

In the morning, Legolas awoke to find himself wrapped around the base of a huge tree. The silver bark was very soft to his elven skin, and he began to recognise certain familiarities in the trunk and roots. Several silvery-green leaves lay about him, lost to the throes of passion, most likely.

Sore from the night, he leaned against the base of the tree and sighed. "I really miss Gimli."

The tree seemed to twitch away from him, and he looked up at her. "Not that you aren't great company, Beloved, but... He could at least talk. If you could call his conversation interesting."

If trees could have actually talked--and some of them had, once. The Ents were proof enough of that--she would have snorted and hrmphed at him.

Instead, he merely sensed her withdrawing from him, and he sighed again. "All right. I'll be silent on the subject of conversation."

"Yes. Good." He slowly stood, "But now, I must feast, or there will be no more good elf-lovin', Beloved."

Approval came from the silken branches and he grinned. "Back tonight, and don't lead me such a chase. I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up."

Disclaimer: Middle Earth and Legolas were created by JRR Tolkien, who is probably rolling over in his grave at the onslut of crappy fanfic the movie has produced. Though, odds are, he would've liked the movie.

Author's Note: Yes. A tree. Who says elves can't be kinky?
