When you review, I ask you not call Sandy a 'stupid bitch!!' or 'h03!' or anything like that. You have to remember that all humans make mistakes. :3 I don't own the Outsiders, but this was written with great affection. Enjoy.
She wants to say I'm sorry.
She wants to say she's sorry for sleeping with that beautiful Soccy boy for one night and killing that beautiful thing they had.
(had she really cared until he'd brought it to her full attention?)
She wants to plead for his forgiveness when her parents finally, after all these goddamn years, put their foot down at the worst moment possible and send her away.
(it gave her a good excuse to run away, leave her troubles behind)
When his letter comes, she thinks she might be able to write an entire novel on how sorry, how sad she is that she left him; but in the end, she is a coward and merely sends it back.
(he always called her brave and it was such a lie)
It's too late to say sorry when she calls Angela to ask how everything is and she hears Angela's silence and then the grinding words telling her that he is dead.
(she's genuinely sorry now but it's too late to fix it)
