"How could you do this to me, Troy?" Gabriella wept. She put her head into her hand and cried.

"Baby, please, don't do this."

"Don't do what?!" Gabriella screamed, she was furious. She grabbed the first thing she was, a teddy bear Troy had won for her at a carnival just the week before, and threw it at him.

"Make a scene! Baby, the neighbors will hear." Troy put his hands on her forearm, just incase she tried to hit him. "Look, we can make this work! We can make this better."

Gabriella inhaled quick, choking on her tears. "I thought you loved me, Troy." She said softly, letting her eyes lock with his big, hazel eyes.

"I do, I always have, and I always will!" Troy pleaded for her to stop, he couldn't stand seeing her upset, even thought he had caused her the pain.

"No," she whimpered. "No." Gabriella felt helpless. Like a lost puppy looking for a new home, or like trying to call for help when no one can hear you. Everything she thought she knew was changed now. From that moment, everything was going to be different forever.

"But I do, Gabriella. I swear to you I do!"

Those were the words that set her off. Gabriella could feel her blood boiling underneath her tan skin. She had no intention of trying to stop it ethier. "Oh, do you, Troy?" She accused, looking straight into his face. The face of the person she thought was meant to be for her.

"Yes!" Troy was getting frustrated. Why couldn't Gabriella just understand that people made mistakes? It's not like he was perfect, he was only 21 years old, and certainly now saint, and he didn't pretend to be ethier.

Gabriella narrowed her blue green eyes, and put both of her hands on his chest. "Then why is Sharpay pregnant?" Then, with all her might, Gabriella shoved Troy. Inside she was happy, watching him fall to the floor. Calmly, Gabriella opened the door, and stepped out of the couples small apartment, silently shutting the door behind her.
