Be careful…

…..

Please….

For me…

Arthur knew that this was going to be difficult from the start.

Alfred wasn't just a person; He was a dream, an ideal. He went here and there, doing what he thought was best and helping those who he thought needed it.

You can't pin down a dream.

It hurt when America smiled at Japan during a conference, or spent a week at Russia's for 'relations'. Oh, it was relations all right-isn't that how Alaska was born?

It made his blood boil when Russia snidely put his arm around America's shoulders and smiled that smile of his, that slimy, disgusting smile that hid his madness and brutal tastes-(Arthur has wrapped wounds, kissed bruised lips, smelled the scent of mint and blood on his love's skin ) Russia loves it, loves his reactions and drinks them up like the finest vodka.

("The Cold War has been over for a loooong time, old man." America smiles and squeezes England's' hand affectionately. "Ivan is a good guy.")

Do good people hurt you?

Arthur has seen this man in action. He has seen the brains and blood soaking the snow, heard the harsh, tinny THUNK of a pipe hitting bone.

"Idiot, talk to me!" Arthur pushes him against the brick wall and seizes his collar, shaking him. "You know what Russia is like, what he'll do to keep you with him."

America flinches but doesn't say anything still. His lack of response is strange and unsettling.

England lets go of his collar and drops him. America stands up straight and brushes his sweater with his hands.

"He gives me what I need Arthur." America says softly. "I can't expect you to understand that."

England turns his back to his lover and leaves.)

England knew that it was hypocritical-India, the West Indies, China, Ireland, Canada, Hong Kong- he conquered and bedded them all, sometimes with their permission and sometimes not. He knew America needed to sow his wild oats, but forming a relationship with a country that didn't give a damn about him or his people was idiotic at best....

American's positive opinions of Russia have gone up 20%, while the UK has gone own 5%, leaving Canada in the lead.

It pisses him off that America's people have forgotten the red scare and the Cold War. But they have never forgotten the Re-
