"Arya, I know you're upset, but you're being a bit of a scrooge." Gendry eyed his girlfriend, who was still pouting profusely in the passenger seat. She glared at him out of the side of her eye, but remained silent with her arms crossed firmly across her chest. Gendry sighed slightly and reached a hand to gently rub her knee. "It wasn't that bad."

"That's because you didn't have to deal with Sansa and my mother." Arya pushed his hand off her knee; Gendry tried to ignore the sting of the gesture, knowing that she wasn't upset with him. "I swear, I can't do anything right. My hair's too short, I'm too old for a nose ring, why couldn't I wear a skirt- it was torture."

"No, torture is what I went through the first time you introduced me to your brothers." Gendry stated, remembering how sweaty he had gotten with Ghost snarling two inches from his neck. Arya let a small smirk show and her posture relaxed, but she kept her arms crossed. Gendry knew he could crack her bad mood if he just kept going, "I mean, they like me well enough now, but sometimes I still fear for my life. Like, when you were going in and out of the kitchen, helping your mum serve, Robb caught me eyeing your ass a little too much."

Arya's smirk widened, "Is that why you stared at your plate most of dinner?"

Gendry nodded solemnly and Arya let out a short burst of laughter, before snapping her hand up to cover her mouth. "No, no, no! It's too late for that." Gendry pointed a finger, "You laughed. It's over, you can't be in a foul mood anymore."

"You're an idiot." Arya shook her head, "But I love you." She reached for the hand she had batted away, entwining their fingers, "Thank you for coming tonight."

"Of course, love." Gendry pulled her hand to his mouth and pressed a short kiss on her knuckles. They spent the rest of their ride in a comfortable silence, Arya never letting go of Gendry's hand until he needed both hands on the wheel to parallel-park outside their apartment.

"When should we take our decorations down?" Arya wondered out loud causing Gendry to let out a bark of laughter, "It's still Christmas, Arya. You really are trying to ruin it."

"Am not! I'm very festive." Arya got a wicked glint in her eye, "I am wearing mistletoe panties."

"Race you upstairs."
