When a ghost transforms Peter and Ray into children, it's up to the only two grown-up Ghostbusters Egon and Winston to save the day

Child's Play

It was a busy morning and afternoon for the Ghostbusters.
So far, they had caught several class twos as well as a class three, all before noon.
Just as the guys were about to head back to the firehouse, Jeanie the receptionist called on Ecto-1's car phone with a job for them at a consturction sight in midtown after a few workers spotted an odd looking object floating around.
Sure enough, when the Ghostbusters arrived to the scene, they spotted something as soon as they entered the work site.
The guys couldn't believe their eyes what they saw once inside the building.
Standing, or rather floating in front of them was a ghost, that resembled a clown, with a goofy looking face, painted in white make-up, a large red nose that matched it's hair, which had a dark blue colored derby hat on top, and a suit in a hideous shade of dark green.
"This is what we got called for a clown?
I hate clowns," said Peter.
"You and me both," Winston added.
Just as the two positioned the wands of their proton packs, Ray stopped them.
"Carefully guys, this is no ordinary ghost," he said.
"He's right, Egon pointed out, While it's indeed a ghost.
It is a spirit of some clown as well, so it may have tricks up it's sleeve."
"Oh not my sleeve, but my hat yuck yuck yuck,"said the spirit, as he removed it's hat, which revealed a spray can on top of his head.
The ghost then took the can, shook it, and sprayed the Ghostbusters, covering them completely in silly string.
"Looks like you guys are all tied up right now yuck yuck yuck," said the spirited as he floated away.

Once the Ghostbusters got themselves free from the silly string, it was time to get into action in capturing the ghost.
At the suggestion of Ray, the four of them split up into two teams, as a better chance of catching the spirit.
Ray and Peter headed for the building's second level, while Egon and Winston remained on the main floor.

As Winston and Egon searched the lower portion of the building in search of the spirit, they heard a sound.
"Yuck yuck, yuck," went the noise.
"Did you hear something?" Winston asked Egon, who replied with,"Yes, but faintly."
"Yuck, yuck, yuck," the sound came again.
"There it is again," said Winston.
"I heard it louder this time," said Egon.
The clownish ghoul appeared in front of the two Ghostbusters, as it went with it's laughter,"Yuck yuck yuck."
"What do we do?" asked Winston.
"Wait and see," Egon replied.
Sure enough, the spirit, lifted it's hat, and on top of it's head was a cream pie.
The ghost took the pie in it's hand, looked to Winston and said,"Care for a bite?"
Before Winston could answer, the ghost threw the pie into his face.
"Yuck, yuck, yuck," laughed the spirit, as Winston wiped pie residue off of his face, with the sleeve of his flightsuit.
The ghost lifted it's hat once more, and this time, had an old fashion seltzer bottle on top of it's head.
"Thirsty?" the ghosted asked Egon.
"No," Egon answered back, only to get sprayed on anyway.
"Yuck, yuck, yuck," laughed the spirit as it floated away.
"Looks like it's heading to the top level," said Winston, looking to see where the ghost dissapeared to.
Egon, who was wiping his glasses dry said,"Let Ray and Peter know, we'll meet them up there."

Meanwhile, Peter and Ray were surveying the area in search for the clown ghoul.
"Any sign of chuckles yet Ray?" Peter asked.
"Not that I can see," Ray replied.
Just then, the two heard a sound.
"Yuck, yuck, yuck," went the noise.
It was indeed the ghost the guys were looking for.
"There he is," Ray pointed out.
Just then, another voice was coming in from Peter's walkie-talkie.
"Peter, Ray, that joker ghost is heading your way," Winston spoke into the speaker.
"Yeah, we kind of figured that out," Peter replied.
"Egon and I are headed up right now.
Keep him in your place."
"Will do."
At that moment, Peter and Ray raised the wands of their proton packs, and aimed them at the spirit.
"Yuck, yuck, yuck, laughed the ghost, You gotta be kidding me.
Aren't you two a little old to be playing with toys."
"These are no toys pal," said Peter.
"And we're at the right age to use these," said Ray.
"Perhaps I can fix that.
Yuck, yuck, yuck," said the ghoul, with his trademark laughter.
He then opened one side of his jacket, placed his hand into the side pocket, lifted his hand to his face, the blew sparkly looking smoke into Ray and Peter's direction.

"Peter, Ray, are you there?" Egon called out, once he and Winston reached the second level, using the back stairway.
However, there was no answer.
"Hey look," Winston, pointed to a cloud of smoke, coming from an open door way.
The two made their way and entered just as the smoke cleared out.
"Peter, Ray, are you in here?" Egon called out.
"Ovea hewe" called a voice.
"I'm not allow to talk to stwangers," called another voice.
Egon and Winston couldn't believe their eyes, when they saw Peter and Ray.
Even though it was them, they looked completely different.
The two Ghostbusters had decreased not only in size, but age as well.

Winston knelt down to the current heights of his fellow Ghostbusters and saidm,"Ray, Peter, is that really you two.
Child Ray simply nodded, while child Peter stuck his tounge out and gave Winston a raspberry.
"It's them all right, said Egon, who also knelt down as well and said,"How did this happen?"
"Stupid clown ghost," answered Peter.
"Sc..Scary clown ghost," Ray answered with a shudder.
Winston and Egon knew exactly who Peter and Ray were talking about.
It was indeed the clown spirit that changed them into children.
"I'm scared and I wanna go home," whimpered Ray.
"Don't worry, you two are safe with us," said Egon.
"We'll make sure that mean ghost doesn't bother you two," said Winston.
Winston took Ray's hand and walked him out of the room, carrying his proton pack in the other hand.
Egon tried to take Peter's hand, but Peter said he was a big boy and could walk by himself.
As Egon was picking up Peter's proton pack off the ground, he suddenly felt something grab his leg.
It was Peter who said,"Please stay with me."
"Don't worry, I promise," said Egon.

After all four made their way outside, Egon placed the proton packs into the back of Ecto-1, then sat in the front passenger side, while Winston helped Ray and Peter, who were in the back seat with buckling their seat belts, before getting into the driver's seat, and drove back to the firehouse.
