One day, when Hilary and her friends were walking back from their ballet class they happened to knock in to a boy while running towards their favourite shop. Hilary decided to bend down and help him. When he got up they took a good look at him, he was just a normal street punk who happened to knock into them. He was wearing a rather beaten up old khaki pants with a dirty stained loose T- Shirt.
Hilary and her friends were what you call it slightly better off then other people which caused them to act like snobs. So the moment they set their eyes on his beaten up, old ragged clothes they immediately stuck up their noses to him. But Hilary's eyes were locked into his as were his locked into hers.. In his eyes he wanted her.. And in her eyes she never tell.. secretly wanted him as well.
But since her friends found something wrong with him . She had to turn him down.. So.. she did. She said " See you later boy.." and left.. In the boy's eyes you could see such a downcast in is mood. He wasn't good enough for her. She had a pretty face but her head was up in space she needed to come back down to earth... And he knew she would regret this one day.
5 years later
Now Hilary was in a dead home .. nobody with her to help her to be with her, feeding the baby she's all alone. Now she could hardly remember his face. She turns on TV and guess who she sees, skater boy .. Skater boy rocking up MTV. Something she thought she'd never see ever again. Him. Especially on TV..
Hilary decides to call up her friends but when she calls them they already know , they've got tickets to see his show. She tags along stands in the crowd except with man she turned down. Secretly she knew she'd regret saying those words to him sooner or later.. And now she was regretting it more then ever.
And now he's a superstar living on his guitar .. She now finally sees what he's worth. After the show he introduces the crowd to his girlfriend .. A girl around his age appears from behind the stage, she's got long dirty blond hair with a few streaks of darker dirtier blond hair that almost looks like light brown. She's wearing tight black long jeans with a black sleeveless shirt with no patterns on the top.
She now knows that she's to late. He's already hers (the girl on the stage now). They were definitely more then good friends.. She regretted that she didn't see what a man that boy could be. See the soul that is inside. His girlfriend also said the same thing she said when she met him except she added " I'll be backstage after the show..". They later sang a song they wrote about a girl he used to know. There was one word.." Her".
Shinjiku: Remember the girl who turned down Skater Boy was Hilary. And I will not identify Skater Boy and his Girlfriend. You'll know them once you listen to the song "Skater Boy".
