"Hey" Farkle stepped through the window as always.

"Hey Farkle," Riley smiled slightly on his arrival. She sighed and stared down at her feet. "Maya's on her date with Lucas."

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine. I mean it's what we agreed on. He would give us each a chance to be his girlfriend equally. We both get alone time with him. She just gets hers first." Riley said trying to convince herself more than anything.

"That bothers you, Riley." She looked at him and shook her head trying to force a smile.

"No we both deserve a chance. Why would it bother me?"

"Because you like Lucas," he stated "you like him, and you want to spend time with him without worrying if he has someone else in mind. You want him to choose you, and you feel if you're with him physically you're with him mentally and that gives you a better chance." Riley stared in disbelief. He's always known her better than anyone, but the truth hurt.

"Farkle I don't want to talk about this anymore." She avoided his gaze. He could see his words hurt her and he pulled her closer.

"I'm sorry Riley. It's just well…you know," he trailed off.

"Smackle," she finished his thought. They had recently broken up and it was still a touchy subject to him. "Do you still not want to talk about it?" She asked. He had never said what happened. He simply told everyone they broke up and said he wanted to be alone. Farkle studied her. He didn't know if he should say why she broke up with him, but this was Riley and he could tell her anything.

"She thinks I care more about my friends than I do about her. She said that I'd drop anything for you," he made eye contact with her and quickly looked away. "…or Maya or Lucas but I only spend time with her when it's convenient." He explained.

"Of course you're there for everyone. That's who you are and we love you for that. Farkle you're amazing and if she tries to make it seem like being who you are is going to get in the way of your relationship she's in the wrong."

"You…you think I'm amazing."

"Yeah I do," Riley responded surprising herself. He smiled at her.

"You know Lucas shouldn't have to see you for you to be on his mind. You're pretty amazing yourself."

"Thanks…you know maybe I don't need Lucas." Riley said.

"Yeah and I don't need Smackle." He said standing up for emphasis.

'Yeah," Riley stood too.

"We can focus on being individuals!"

"Yeah,"

"I can focus on science!"

"Yeah,"

"And you can focus on…" He didn't know what Riley could focus on.

"Being a bunny farmer," she finished for him.

"Yeah that. We can do what we want!" Farkle was engrossed in his rant and Riley was too.

Yeah," Riley agreed.

"We should kiss!"

"Yeah," in an instant Farkle's lips were on hers. Her hand looped around his neck while his floated to her waist. They both pulled away dumbstruck. Their reactions went from awe to panic. "What just happened?"

"We…kissed." Farkle responded.
