John smiled and leaned back in his chair, "Truth or Dare Rodney."
"Well considering what happened last time, I'll go for dare instead." Rodney stated confidently, sure he was making the right choice.
"Fine, I dare you to compliment your team and give them all the day off today."
"What! No way! There is way too much work to be done! And can you just imagine their egos if I compliment them!"
"Come on McKay, I accepted your dare to dye my hair." John replied in a sing-song voice.
"Aw come on! But you used wash out dye!"

Pulling his face into a phony smile and taking a deep breath, Rodney strode into the lab. Clapping his hands together his team looked up at him, expecting the usual rant.
"Alright people! Great job today! Because of all your amazing work, you all get the day off!"
A stunned silence followed his words, with the other scientists in the room staring with wide eyes and dropped jaws.
Two seconds later the room cleared, leaving chairs spinning. Zelenka stopped beside the door frame, "Are you feeling alright? This is unusual for you…"
Pointing to the hallway, Rodney grudgingly kept the smile on his face, "Go. Now." He growled.
Deciding to leave before his day-off got revoked, Zelenka hurried off.
Rodney shuttered and tapped his comm., "John, I did it. Your turn, truth or dare."
A/N- Hope you enjoyed. I had a half an hour of free time so I decided to try and write something… I'm not 100% happy with it but on the plus side, I've finally been able to conquer my writers block!
