k guys! time for a short little heroes of olympus one shot
i was bored.
It was a good time for a celebration, as none of the demigods knew whether they would make it out of this to have another celebration. Leo was cracking jokes, Frank was amusing everyone by changing into different animals, and Jason almost scared Piper to death by "accidentally" tripping over the edge of the Argo II. All of them wished they had a camera to capture the face she was making while everyone laughed as she remembered that he could 'fly'. They had food, decorations, and everyone was having the time of their lives. Percy turned to the sound of a bird squeaking in the sky, then turned back around to see that everyone was looking at him and Annabeth chanting, "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" Annabeth was blushing. Percy shrugged and pulled her in to fulfill the rest of the seven's request. They laughed and cheered. Then they broke apart and Jason gave a suggestion.
"Guys, let's play a game or something," he said.
Piper gasped. "Ooh! Let's play 'What are the Odds'!"
Hazel looked at her in confusion.
"It's kind of like Truth or Dare, except there's a chance you won't have to do anything," Frank explained.
"Oh. How do you play?"
Percy stepped in. "I'll give you an example. Let's say I went up to Piper and asked, what are the odds that you will throw Jason off of this boat?"
Piper thought. "1 out of… 8."
"Thanks, Pipes…" Jason mumbled sarcastically.
Percy continued explaining. "So she would say something like 1 out of… and then any number 1 through 10. Then, we would count to 3 and say a number in the range at the same time. So, 1, 2, 3, 7."
"4," Piper said at the same time.
Percy turned to Hazel. "Since we didn't say the same number, Piper doesn't need to throw Jason off of the ship. If we did, she would. If she had said 1 out of 2 and we said the same number, she would still have to do it. If she said 1 out of 2 and we didn't say the same number, I would have to do it."
"Oh ok," Hazel said. "So like this- Percy, what are the odds that you will drench Annabeth in water?"
"1 out of 5."
Annabeth rolled her eyes.
"1, 2, 3, 2," they said simultaneously.
Annabeth groaned.
"Sorry," Percy said. He looked over the edge and pulled up some water from the ocean below. He gathered it into a floating bubble, then dropped it on Annabeth.
"Perseus Jackson, I swear to all the gods…"
Percy started to back away then ran below deck. Annabeth laughed.
