Hey guys!

I know I'm trying to juggle a lot of stories at once, but I just finished reading the Twilight Saga, and I absolutely ADORE it. So what better way to show my adoration then to write a Fanfic about it? Well here goes!

Edward reached over to put his arm around me as we drove farther and farther from Forks.

We had been living here for over 30 years, without aging, and everybody, including Charlie, was starting to get suspicious. Carlisle had decided it was time for us to leave our beloved town of Forks.

"It's okay, Bella," Jasper said, sensing my feeling of distress. "I'm sure Charlie and Sue will be fine living together."

"It's not that," I said, looking down at my feet. "It's Renesmee."

Renesmee had chosen not to come with us, and stay with Jacob and his pack. As Renesmee got older, she no longer thought of Jacob as a brother, but as a boyfriend. If I could have cried, I would have been crying buckets when she made that final decision.

"Bella," Edward said gently, giving me my favorite crooked smile. "Everything will be alright. Nessie is almost an adult, she can take care of herself. And if she doesn't, I'm sure Jacob will."

"He's right, you know," Alice chimed in from the back.

"I thought you couldn't see them."

"I can't, but I know it's true. Jacob loves her to pieces, he would never let her get in harm's way." Alice said, smiling at me.

"I know," I said, putting on a smile for their sake. "Where are we even going, Edward?"

"It's a secret," he said, his crooked smile making me melt inside.

We zoomed along the highway, faster than any human driver would dare go. We passed forests, towns, and big cities. We never stopped in any of them.

Finally, after hours of driving, we stopped in a pretty big city, by an old crab shack restaurant.

"Where are we?" I asked, for I hadn't been paying attention to any of the road signs flying by.

Edward stepped outside, rocketed around the car to open the door for me, and once I was out, took me in his arms and kissed me.

Breaking out of the kiss, he smiled down at me and said, "New Orleans,"

Well that's the first chapter! It's so short because it's kind of like an intro.. some background knowledge I guess. Hope you guys like it! And remember, REVIEW, REVIEW, REVIEW!
