The Thing You Needed Most: A Dean Winchester Poem
You were so bright
So happy
So full of hope
And then you lost the thing you needed most
Full of grief and sorrow
You couldn't have cared less that the world was ending tomorrow
Because the thing you needed most laid still
And you had nothing to live for
Or to kill
So you drove to one of those demons
The ones with those red eyes
The ones who ended those lives
There on that road.
And you sold that remaining thing inside you
For the thing you needed most.
Then you went back home that same hour
And hugged the thing you needed most.
When you were kids you promised each other
That there was nothing you wouldn't tell
So nowhow will you tell the thing you need most
That for him
You're going to Hell?
