Steve, your neighbour for like, a year now, has become a really good friend of yours. And yes, you know that he is captain America. I mean, his face appears in the news and there's even a freaking museum about him, so yeah. It was quite a surprise when he came knocking on your door, introducing himself as your new neighbour and asking if you had dish soap that you could lend him. After the initial shock, you gave him the dish soap and said that it wasn't necessary to give it back to you later on because you had a second one. But obviously, since Steve is such a good guy, one day you were coming back from work and you found a new dish soap on your door step, with a note that said 'Thank you'. Since then you guys started to talk more, having dinner at each other's apartments and mainly hang out, trying to put Steve up to date on the cultural subject. In other words, trying to cross out everything on Steve's never-ending list. You find it quite amusing trying to explain all the things to Steve. Mainly because he questions everything. And of course, the never-ending laughter that comes after he exclaims 'I understood that reference!', when he finally does understand them. You won't even deny the fact that he is extremely hot. It isn't worth the trouble to lie to yourself when you know that you would end up admitting it, sooner or later. But if anybody asked you would deny it! So, it isn't a surprise when you find yourself asking if you like Steve more than a friend.

Both of you have the keys to each other's apartments. So, if you ever need anything you just need to enter. And that's what you did. You wanted to ask Steve if he wanted to have dinner at your house and then catch a movie. And with that intention, you walked towards the door, unlocking it and entering the house.

"Steve?" You called, but nobody answered. "Steve?" You called again, this time walking towards the kitchen. You decided that you should just check if he was in his room and then if he wasn't, leave a note for him to find when he came back, since apparently, he wasn't home.

You knocked on his door.

"Steve? Are you in there?" You asked, and when you didn't get an answer, you opened the door. When you got in, you didn't find Steve. You found an almost naked Steve. And, by the way, damn.

"Oh!" Steve exclaimed, gripping the towel around his waist tighter.

"Oh my gosh!" you yelled, surprised.

"Y/n! What are you doing here?" he said, embarrassed.

"Me? Oh… I was…I mean… you…fuck!" you stuttered.

"Yes?" he said, a little more confident and comfortable after seeing the effect that he had on you. You took a deep breath and tried to calm yourself down a bit.

"I wanted to ask you if you wanted to have dinner at my place and then watch a movie…maybe?" you finally said, still staring at his abs.

"You know y/n, my eyes are up here." he chuckled.

"Yes, well, I'll get there eventually." you muttered, and Steve laughed.

"Well, if you dare, come a little closer! You get to see the view better." He said, playfully.

"I just might." You joked, approaching him. "You look like you're photoshopped, for fuck's sake!" you muttered again, and that made Steve laugh even harder.

"Thank you! I think it's the first time that someone's almost angry with me, after seeing me half-naked." He chuckled.

"Yes, good, yes, that's me, always angry." You babbled, finally looking him in the eyes. He smiled down at you and you returned the smile. "So, dinner?"
