Author's note: Alright my first Steven Universe is here. Yay! Clap. Clap. Clap. I know this kind of might have already been done before, but I just could resist on practicing my writing and writing style, and something to have fun doing, however do feel free to the mistakes I left behind I still want to be better writer.

Also if noticed the characters acting out of charters here that's is because I have only seen clips on you tube and a very small portion of those were with Rose Quartz, than you now the reason. I will say, out of what little did seen of Rose, I already like her, she's awesome and if I get around to see more, then she might make it to my most favorite Steven Universe character.

Now that is all said and done, let's start the show. (3

Pearl, lone and lowered head as she laid back towards a wall on of her home while music blasted in echoed in the background. She did not care about the noise. Her mind was trapped in other... things. It has been a while since Rose fall in love with a human named Craig and now going to have child together. Despite her objections, that was not what bothered her most. No, what cause was that she would have to say good-bye to the gem that's been everything to her. The gem that made her feel like she could anything. She let out a defeated sigh.

Soon that would all ceased in place of a new life, one that was a complete stranger and one she was too thrilled about. Though she wouldn't like the new arrival, she could never casted ill fate and, or thoughts on the youngling, being that was her kin's child, the job she had to up heeled to ordered her to protect the life on this foreign planet at all cost, and most of all, she knew was it's like to be treated as an outcast since the day of your creation; it was something she went through many eons ago.

A tear slid down her check, followed by more until her eyes resembled that of a dam about to burst. Why did Rose have to do this? Why did Rose have to get involved with humans, epically Craig? Why couldn't she stay with her forever? Why did it all have to be this way? Why? Questions she asked herself one too many times, but never found answer.

"My Pearl?" Spoke a soft famine voice. The gem looked to her side see a follow gem with pink hair, swollen belly, and a white ball gown that match the color of the moon.

"Rose?!" She asked before she wiped her eyes and noise on her arm.

"Is everything's alright?"

"Oh? Yes!" Despite her blurry vision and distorted hearing, she could tell Rose walked right beside her, peering down at her with concern eyes. "Just had something in my eyes."

"Hm? You're sad about me having to go soon?..." The gem held her position in place. "My Pearl, I would not be completely gone. I would be a part of Steven. I am sure you two get along just fine. Steven already likes you." Rose said as she placed her hands on her stomach, gently rubbed it with a bright smile etched on her face. "He's wanting to come out to meet you... My Pearl, when I go, I'll be there, watching you," Just then, looked at friend again. The seriousness burned bright in the pink hair gem's eyes. Promise me this?! You'll never forget what I told you!"

Pearl let a snort before she took Rose's hand, gotten up and said "Yes Rose, I will."

"Good. Now let's get back, everyone we'll be wondering were we'll be?"

"Yes."
