Konata and Kagami were hanging out like always. Kagami's sister nowhere to be found. Time ticked by as the two of them played games. Suddenly, Konata passed out. Kagami freaked out and started to call 911. She didn't know what else to do, and Konata's father was out. Eventually an ambulance came and got Konata to the hospital. There, they ran test after test after test. The same results kept coming up. Nothing. Just a normal fainting. After a week, they released her. Konata felt better and Kagami was relieved. To make up for for worring Kagami, Konata took her out for a treat. They went to a nice resturant where Konata handed her a note. Told her not to read it until later, and left. Now it's about 9 P.M. there and Kagami got a call on her cellphone. She answers it and hears a doctor say "Is this Kagami? I hate you inform you but...Konata passed away. I have already informed her family and I was asked to inform you. It was her final wish" Kagami dropped to her knees, tears streaming from her face. How could happen?! She was healthy! She was discharged from the hospital! Suddenly, she remembered the note. Opened it quickly to see Konata's hand writing. It said "Kagami, I apologize. The doctor's told me I had but a day left and I wanted to spend it with you. I always enjoyed your company and didn't want to ruin my last day with you. Please forgive me, and enjoy life. I will be watching over you." Tears fell onto the paper as Kagami let go of it. Rolling onto her side, she sobbed. She had lost her best friend. Forever gone.
