Seth had woken up feeling terrible. He was coughing, his body hurt, his head hurt, he couldn't breathe out his nose and sweat was dripping from his forehead.

He walked down to the kitchen in his pajamas where Ryan and Sandy were.

He looked miserable.

"I think I'm sick" Seth said while coughing.

"You don't look so good, kid" Sandy said.

Ryan looked at him. "You look terrible" he said.

"I think I have a fever too" Seth added.

Sandy felt his forehead, "You do feel warm. Let me get Mom"

Sandy called his wife, Kirsten.

"Kirsten! Can you come in here for a second!" he hollered.

Seth felt like he was going to fall over. He leaned against the counter top.

"Yes? What's the problem?" Kirsten asked Sandy.

She looked over at Seth. "Seth's not feeling good. I wanted mother's perspective" Sandy said.

Kirsten felt Seth's forehead. "He's running a fever. He probably has the flu. You go to work and I'll stay with Seth. Ryan, you better get to school" she said.

Ryan got his backpack and headed out the door. "Feel Better, Seth" he said.

"And you need lots of rest. Do you want to lie down on the couch?" she asked Seth.

"Sure" he said.

"Okay. I'll get the thermometer and you get yourself f settled on couch" Kirsten said.

She was concerned. Seth only faked being sick. This time it was for real.

Seth sat on the couch and put his legs up. He covered himself in blankets. He was freezing.

All he wanted to do was go to sleep though.

Kirsten came back with everything Seth would need.

She pulled out the thermometer and placed it in his mouth.

She took it out as soon as it beeped. She read it to him, "One Hundred and Two. Oh, you poor thing" she said and kissed him on the head.

"Do you need anything?" she asked

"Sleep" Seth said.

"Good Idea. I'll let you be. I'll make you some soup for when you wake up" she said.

Seth smiled and rolled over to go to sleep.

When Ryan got to school he saw Summer.

"Ryan! Where's Seth? He usually comes in with you" Summer said.

"He's home sick. Probably the flu, he looked pretty bad. Not even faking" Ryan explained to her.

"Oh no, My poor baby!" Summer said concerned.

"Let me call him" she said.

She pulled out her cell phone and dialed Seth's number.

Seth's phone ran and he woke up.

In a hoarse voice he said, "H-hello?"

"Seth. It's Summer, are you okay? Ryan just told me you're sick!" Summer said.

"What? Oh yeah, I'm fine" Seth said, lying to Summer.

"Did I wake you up? Ooh, I'm so sorry!" Summer said feeling bad.

"No, it's fine. Really." Seth said and began to cough.

"Well, I'll let you rest. Maybe I'll stop by later! Love you" Summer said and hung up the phone.

Seth was confused and just tired.

He continued coughing.

"Seth? Are you awake?" Kirsten asked.

"Yeah, I am" Seth said in a sickly voice.

She came over to the couch and felt his forehead.

"Sweetie, you're burning up. You need Tylenol" Kirsten told him.

She went back to the kitchen and arrived back with Tylenol for Seth.

He took it and drank his water.
