Two years after Joanie and Chachi tied the knot, they were living in New Jersey, and expecting their first child. They were doing moderately well in the music business, and everyone was proud for them. The family was flying down for the birth: Fonzie and Ashley, who had gotten married shortly after Danny's adoption went through, because she left her good-for-nothing ex-husband again, realizing the mistake she had made, were coming with their kids, Danny, Heather, and little baby Henry. Richie and Lori Beth were coming with their two, Richie Junior and Ruby, and of course the grandparents were coming.

But, they were too late- they were due to come in around four p.m., and at nine a.m., Joanie tapped Chachi on the arm.

"Chach, my water broke." she said, and he hopped up, dashing so madly around he smacked his forehead on the wall trying to grab her suitcase.

Joanie smiled, though she was in pain, and shook her head. "Charles Edward Arcola! Get up!" she yelled. "You have to write a note for the family!"

"A note, right..." Chachi mumbled, reaching for a pen with a shaky hand.

In his nervous frenzy, he couldn't find any tape to stick it to the door, so he grabbed a screwdriver and stabbed it into their front door. Joanie grimaced.

"You know we're going to have to fix that when we get ba... ow, ow, lotsa pain..."

Chachi sighed, helping her to the car. "Let's just go, okay, Blue Eyes?"

Joanie looked at him tearfully. "You haven't called me that in so long..."

Chachi kissed the side of her head. "Well, remind me to do it more often..."

When the family saw the note and headed to the hospital, they got a surprise: Twins!

"Oh, but I thought the doctors could tell such things by now!" Marian said in awe, reaching for her grandson.

"One was hiding." Joanie smiled, handing Louisa her granddaughter.

"A boy and a girl... how perfect..." Louisa sighed dreamily. "What are their names?"

"Yes, please tell me you two didn't name them after some rock and roll... thing..." Howard said.

Joanie looked at her husband, taking his hand, and he smiled at her, giving her a wink.

"Their names are Aurthur Alphonso and Marian Louisa."

Fonzie's eyes went wide, as did Al's, and he walked over, taking his namesake into his arms. "Well, well... Triple A, that's somethin'; the kid'll be a natural mechanic..." he joked.

Al grinned down at his new grandson. "Lookit that... I'm a grandpop..." he said, beaming over at Howard, who smiled back, and began admiring his grandchildren as well.

Louisa gave Marian her turn with the little girl, and Marian's eyes welled. "Oh... and they named her after us..." she said, emotional.

"Can we ask for better children?" Louisa smiled, taking Chachi's chin in her hands. "My sweet face..."

Chachi smiled, and Joanie spoke up next. "We're calling them Artie and Mary Lou for short."

"That's beautiful, you did good, twerp." Richie smiled at her.

But, then the nurse came in.

"Oh, no, no... much too many people in this one room... and the babies have to be taken to the nursery for now... come on... into the bassinets with you, and everyone out; little mother needs her rest..."

Early the next morning, before visiting hours, Fonzie was the first to pop his head into Joanie's little room, and his heart melted at the picture. His little Shortcake, asleep in the bed with baby Artie, and Chachi, who'd always felt like his own baby brother, walking a mildly fussing Mary Lou.

"Shhh, shhh, baby doll..." he whispered, and then begun to sing softly to his daughter. "Hello, Mary Lou; goodbye heart. Sweet Mary Lou I'm so in love with you. I knew Mary Lou, we'd never part. So, hello Mary Lou; goodbye heart..."
