Axel couldn't deny it; he loved being around them.

It was kind of funny. He was a Nobody; he couldn't feel happiness or affection… but around them, it seemed like he could. The clocktower – their refuge – was the only place where he could genuinely smile and laugh. His fondest memories were there – his best times. It was a place to tease, chat, relax, a place to be himself. He hadn't had a place like that for a long time.

They had an odd effect on him, it's true. He was… different around them. But that didn't bother him at all.
