"You wanna hear about a wild legend from my home place?" Bebe's eyes twinkled and he had a wild smile stretching across his face. He eagerly leaned into Amo's personal space; Breaching his bubble was normal but that along with his overly excited expression made him want to say no, if out of nothing but playful mockery.
"Ugh, is this gonna be as cheesy as the sauna incident you told me about?" he dragged his words out. hoping to rally Bebe up even more. It did.
"NOT AT ALL. LISTEN YOU GOTTA HEAR THIS!" the loud exclamation, echoed across the dimly lit coffeehouse. Amo jumped to put his hands on his friends face- "shhh, okay okay- not so loud!" A few of the non-regulars turned to gaze at them oddly. All others didn't bat an eye.
"So," Bebe leaned back into his seat an appropriate amount, his excitement replaced with a cheeky expression. He lowered his voice to just a murmur, "so where I am from there was a urban legend of a masked vigilante we would call, Dragon Slayer…" Amo was interested but starred on with a blank expression, his mouth slightly open: a bit of a dumb look- "Uh earth to Amo, hello? What region are you in?"
"I am paying attention! The Dragon Slayer, what about this 'urban legend'!" Amo made his eyes twice as big as normal, slurping his drink. Bebe said no more and continued.
"Some say he was actually a protecting spirit: as tall as a mountain, stronger than steel, fast as lightning. Purging evil from my hometown. Some sort of hero Huh? To this day no one knows who they are or where they came from-"
Bebe stopped prompted by the blank look of Amo's face once again.
"I was listening don't stop!"
