I watched in jealousy as Damon and Elena were playing pool together, acting like the cute couple they were. Stefan ended up leaving with Katherine, leaving me to deal with being a vampire on my own.
Ever since he left, everyone has been trying to help me. No one would really be like Stefan, except Elena. She was always there comforting me through the sad, calming me down during the angry, laughing with me during the happy. She helped me with everything, she was a bigger help than Stefan was even.
"Hey Car wanna play with us" Elena asked smiling as she came running up to me. She noticed my dazed state, and knew instantly something was wrong. "Hold up a second" she said seriously as she ran back to Damon quickly. I heard them whispering quietly.
"Damon, I gotta bail, Caroline needs me" Elena said quickly. "Come on not again" Damon groaned frustrated. "I'm sorry she's having a hard time since Stefan left, and I've been the only one that's really helped her" she explained sighing quietly.
"Fine go ahead, but can you please spend the night with me" he asked smirking. "Of course, bye" she said quickly pecking him on the lips as she ran back to me.
"Time for a girl's day" she said smiling widely as she dragged me back to the car.
We soon found ourselves in my living room watching The Last Song. I barely paid attention to the movie, and was in a different world till she paused the movie. "Ok Car spill, what's up" she asked as she turned her attention to me.
"Nothing, I'm fine" I told her saying the same thing I always did. "Yes there is, come on you know you can tell me anything" she said quietly as she edged closer. I edged away as she moved closer, knowing she wasn't helping my case.
"Caroline come on" she begged quietly. "Just stop ok" I finally broke as I blurred off the couch standing up pacing. "Caroline come on what the hell is it that is bugging you" she said standing up as she stood in front of me, making me stop in place. "Just leave me alone" I said trying to get her to hate me. She held me in place as she forced me to look at her.
"I will never leave you Caroline, I'm not Stefan" she declared softly. "He said the same thing than he left me all alone" I fired back softly as I felt the tears fall. "Well I will be here for you, even when I am 70 and in diapers and you are still young and hot" she said quoting me from before.
"I need you, I don't want you to ever die" I blurted out suddenly. She froze as she stared at me. Brown earth and blue fire meeting endlessly. She than lunged forward suddenly and kissed me softly. I hesitated but responded back helplessly. She soon had to pull away for breath, and she stared at me.
"I love you Car, and I promise to never leave" she declared softly as she leaned forward bring my lips back to hers.
