One day, in the Castle That Never Was, Roxas went into the grey area and saw that Axel was the only one there, sitting on one of the couches. Roxas smiled and walked over to Axel, sitting down next to him.
"Hey Roxie!" Axel greeted, "What's with the guitar?"
"Demyx taught me how to play it! You want to hear a song?"
"What the hell? Why not?"
"Alright! I heard this song earlier and taught myself how to play it! It's called Beautiful Soul!" (Hey! The song fits since Jesse McCartney does the voice of Roxas!)

At the end of the song, Roxas looked at Axel and saw him looking shocked. "What? Was it bad?"
"No… no, not at all. It's just… I never knew you had such a great singing voice."
"My voice is okay, I guess."
"Okay?" Axel asked, "Roxas, it's beautiful!"
"Um… thanks." Roxas said with a blush.
"…I got a question." Axel said.
"Yeah?"
"Is there a reason you just played that song for me?"
"Yeah, I played it for you, because… it expresses how I feel for you." Roxas said.
Now, Axel had a real reason to be shocked, but he shook it off after a moment and chuckled, deeply. "Well, Roxie, if it's any consolation… I love you too." He said and kissed Roxas.
Roxas broke the kiss after a minute or so and sang softly, "I don't want another pretty face, I don't want just anyone to hold, I don't want my love to go to waste, I want you and your beautiful soul."
