Ok this is going to be your typical girl moves into town and meets the
gang, BUT she has a dark side. She's the typical pretty girl.but for some
reason no guy dares to try to get near her.except for one. Why is this one
so brave and why wont any other guy try? R&R to find out. And I know that
the things that happen in this story don't still happen today or even back
in the 60's but they did happen in the 1600's so please just bear with me
and pretend they still happen today because I thought this idea would be
interesting
Roxanne sighed and looked at her watch, this ride was taking forever.
"Mom when are we going to be there? And where IS there anyway?" She asked annoyed looking over at her mother who looked as if she would fall asleep at the wheel if they didn't get there soon.
"We're going to Tulsa Oklahoma and we'll be there in about 20 minutes now just be quiet please." Roxanne sighed again and looked back out the window, this place was a lot different from their home in Salem, Massachusetts. And each time she saw something different out the window she'd miss her home that much more. Soon they finally arrived in Tulsa outside a small house with an old wooden fence around the outside.
"Please tell me this isn't it." Roxanne said stepping out of the car
"Fine then I wont tell you, get your things and come inside." Her mother said smiling as if nothing was wrong.
"Mother this place is tiny compared to our other house." Roxanne whined dragging a suitcase inside.
"That's because no one wanted to live where we lived at so the houses were cheaper there, here there's more people so you have to pay more so we'll just have to deal with it." (A/N I have no idea if that would be true or not but in this story it is)
"Do I have to?" Roxanne asked looking around and frowning
"You'll get used to it don't worry sweetie. Now help me unpack and you can go exploring before dinner time." Roxanne nodded and followed her mother out to the car.
Once everything had been moved inside and somewhat unpacked Roxanne went outside and towards the park they had passed earlier that morning.
"I hate it here.I wish we could just go back to Salem but noooo they don't want us there so we had to leave a find a place where it was safer." Roxanne went on complaining until she noticed she had walked all the way to a small gas station.
"Damn I guess that's pretty cool.. walking distance to get drinks and what not." She said to herself going inside and grabbing a Pepsi from the fridge that was set up in the corner.
"Well, well looks like there's a new girl in town.. at least I haven't seen you around before so I assume your new." She turned to see a couple of guys behind her wearing shirts and hats advertising the gas station on them.
"Well you assume correct I just got here today, my names Roxanne Taylor." I said extending my hand.
"Sodapop Curtis, this here's my best friend Steve Randle." She nodded as she shook their hands.
"Where ya from?"
"Salem, Massachusetts." She said and the two boys nodded.
"Well welcome to Tulsa."
Ok and that's it for now, please review and let me know what you think so far. I know nothing much happened in this chapter but it will later on I promise. Anyway please review.
