Hi! So this is my first Auslly fanfiction and I can promise that there will be many more to come! Also, just wanted to say that Auslly's children are ADORABLE! The actor who plays their son looks exactly like a young version of Austin! And I don't know if this a shock to anyone else and but Ally's middle name is "Edgar"? Did I just miss that in earlier episodes? This story is a more dramatic, emotional scene than what had happened in the show when Austin and Ally talked backstage during the Series Finale.
"Because something so brilliant is made for just two in a million"
"Ally, we need to talk" Austin said, walking out from his hiding spot in the curtains. He couldn't believe that Trish would do something like that; he already told her that it was just too painful to see Ally, although it had been 4 years already.
Ally simply nodded, as she looked down, trying to not let Austin see the tears threatening to pour down like a waterfall. She had tried to find someone else after the break up; but every single time when she found someone, she found these comparisons with them and Austin. Reminding her of why she was trying to find someone else.
"I missed you, Austin" Ally whispered, slowly looking up at him, letting some tears leak, "I just couldn't move on, e-every time I tried all I could think of were comparisons from you to them."
"Ally, I never stopped missing you" he admitted, thinking back to those days on tour when it didn't feel like he was there in front of 10,000 people, but instead felt like he was just singing to her. He didn't know what had happened to him back then, rushing off stage just to hold the song book that Ally had treasured deep in her heart close to his chest, thinking he could hear her saying that they could try again; try being on the same path. "I-I can't believe that Trish actually set this up, just so we could all see each other again"
Ally was crying full on now; Austin wanting more than ever to just wipe away her tears and hold her in his arms. But he couldn't, because they weren't together anymore and it was just too painful to touch her.
"Y-you know when we were on the same path, all I could think was how lucky I was to have you and to love you. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you," Ally quietly admitted, looking up into the hazelnut brown of his eyes, always comforting to her, "B-but now I realized that I still do want to spend the rest of my life with you,"
Austin was temporarily shocked. He never thought he would have another chance with Ally. He had believed it when they had both agreed that the relationship was just too hard due to their different parts. Taking a moment to respond he told her " I want to spend the rest of my life with you too" it was the most honest sentence he had ever said in his life.
Sharing a sweet, long kiss they heard Trish announce that they were going to be performing together for the first time in years; they hurriedly got their stuff together and went on to sing.
