AN: I have decided to freewrite a crossover of Artemis Fowl and Haruhi Suzimiya, flame or fame ((tehe, see what I did there?)) PLEASE REVIEW!
"There's something funny about this" declared the energetic brunette who sat behind me, I sighed quietly
"just because he skipped a grade doesn't mean there's anything 'funny' about him" despite this she continued to glare at the boy standing at the front of their class. He was a year younger than the rest of us and yet even in school uniform he looked like some kind of mini business man, and he looked at all of us like we were somehow much younger than him
"Kyon, he skipped a grade and he's a mysterious transfer student! Defiantly worth checking out!" I sighed
"you already have Koizumi as your so called 'mysterious transfer student', we don't need any mo-"
"shut up! He's getting introduced!" the strange boy looked around the room as the teacher coughed to get the students attention
"ok everyone, we have a new student today"
no way, I just thought this kid had wandered in here by accident
"his name is Artemis Fowl, I would like you all to make him feel welcome" Artemis? Where have I heard that name before? Behind me Haruhi put up her hand
"excuse me, isn't that the name of the goddess of hunting? Why do you have a girl's name?" a few people in the class snickered at this new information and I rolled my eyes, way to make the new kid feel welcome Haruhi, but at least now I knew where I had heard it before, the new kid sighed, this clearly wasn't a new question to him
"I inherited the name from my father, Artemis Fowl the first, as to why my father had such a name I do not know" his Japanese was impeccable, just a slight accent, but he seemed rather bored, but at the same time he seemed to be scanning the room, it was minor, not something you would notice right away, but he was looking at everyone's face, like he was looking for someone. I decided this Artemis person was a bit strange, even by my standards, but he's probably not an alien or esper or timetraveler, maybe he's just a regular kid with a higher than normal IQ and a lot of manners. Oh god I really hope he is.
