The Last Memory of You
Your face in the mirror is now but a memory.
A memory of darkness,
Black as night.
Black as the ocean under a sullen moon.
Can such darkness hold memories?
Are they merely figments of imagination?
Surely they are not!
For it is my last memory of you,
My last shred of hope,
Before everything fades away in time.
Eternity is forever,
And I cannot bear it.
