He had suspected infection to set in and it did.
He was worried sick over Dean, the fever had yet to break and it had been three days.
Through the three days Dean had muttered not much of anything, the occasional, "water", but that's it.
The book he was currently reading had him engrossed, yet he still kept a careful and watchful eye on Dean.
"Sam, turn the damn light off before I kick your ass."
He smiled and knew that with the sentence there was the glimmer of hope he'd been wishing for, it meant Dean was becoming his old self. Yeah, his brother was gonna be just fine.
