Hollyleaf gazed up at her mother through blurring eyes and whispered, "I'm glad you came back to ThunderClan, you're a good mother and I'm glad I got to know you." Then, everything faded into nothing.

The black she-cat blinked open her green eyes and stood, glancing down at her body. At least I died fighting for my Clan… She thought as she raised her head and faced the cats in front of her. Her eyes flickered back and forth, not catching the words of any cat that spoke, searching for one cat, a tom, in particular. Where is he? She wondered, hoping that he was okay and hasn't faded away forever.

Her gaze landed on her brothers and mother and she smiled at them, dipping her head before she turned and followed the fallen warriors back to StarClan.

Hollyleaf paced around the starry pond, her fur fluffed up. Mousefur watched the agitated black she-cat and meowed, "I'm sure he'll get here."

"But what if he was killed?!" She cried, sitting down, hunched forward.

"Hollyleaf, he was lost in the tunnels," the dusky brown she-cat murmured. "I'm sure he would want to see his family before he comes back to you."

The black she-cat sighed and closed her green eyes. "I hope so."

Later that night, Hollyleaf lied beside the same starry pool she paced around earlier, worried sick about him. She whimpered and buried her nose in her paws when she felt a muzzle nudge her. Hollyleaf's head shot up with a start, and saw who it was. She grinned and meowed, "Fallen Leaves!" She leaned up and nuzzled the tom, purring. "I was so worried."

Fallen Leaves nuzzled her back and purred, "I would've come earlier, but I wanted to make sure my family was okay."

Hollyleaf sat up and the ginger-and-white-patched tom sat down next to her, their pelts brushing and tails twined. "That's understandable," she murmured, leaning against him, placing her head under his muzzle.

Fallen Leaves took a deep breath and asked, "Hollyleaf… will you be my mate?"

She pulled her head away and looked at him with large green eyes. A grin broke across her face and she nuzzled him, purring. "I will, Fallen Leaves," Hollyleaf murmured, purring.

He purred loudly and licked her head, breaking away and padding off. Fallen Leaves padded back, carrying some moss, and made a nest for them. Hollyleaf brushed her cheek against his and lied down, her new mate curling around her. "I love you," she murmured, resting her head on her paws, pressing against him and closing her eyes.
