Jenny Humphrey sat on a slightly wet park bench crying. Her clothes were soaked, but she didn't care.
Her boyfriend, Nate, just dumped her for a cougar!
Eric van der Woodsen was walking through the park, questioning his sexuality, when he saw a girl hunched over sobbing. But not just any girl; it was his best friend, Jenny.
"Jen?" He asked when he got closer. She looked up.
"Nate dumped me for someone else," she cried harder.
"It'll be okay," Eric soothed.
"No it won't! He left me for an older woman!" Jenny yelled, "Like 26 years older!"
"Who?"
"Her name is Catherine," she frowned.
"Hey," Eric hugged her, "Turn that frown upside-down! I will get you to smile!"
He tickled her.
"E-E-Eric! Stop!" She managed between giggles.
He stopped but the smile didn't fade from her face. Then, all of a sudden, they were kissing.
It started out with a small smooch, then it turned into explorations of each other's mouths, and then it became heated.
When it started down pouring, they finally broke apart. Jenny smiled at him.
Eric grinned, "Told you I would get you to smile."
