He could not stop thinking about her.
Percy Jackson, the hero of Olympus, the only son of Poseidon, the savior of mankind could not stop thinking about his blond headed best friend: Annabeth.
After the war, and their underwater kiss, Annabeth said she would be staying in New York, but had to move back to California because her father got terribly injured and she wanted to be with him.
Percy was lying down on the beach, he closed his eyes and began to think all the fun times and bad times he and Annabeth had spent together.
When he opened his eyes, there she was, he whispered, "Annabeth?" but then she just disappeared, a figment of his imagination.
He could not stand it, Percy ran back to his cabin, ignoring all the people asking where he was going and the rude comments for bumping into them, he just had to tell Annabeth something, but e knew that he could probably never say such a thing out loud, so he decided to send an iris text message. (yep, I invited that)
So he ran into his cabin and went to his fountain the drachms in them, he threw a couple of them into the mist and said "Annabeth, California, Text Message" a keyboard popped out of the mist and he wrote his message. He sent the message and here is what it said
I cannot but help thinking about you, you keep coming into my mind, and every time I open my eyes, I can just imagine your face. I miss you more than I thought was possible.
