Hey guys, I know it's been forever but do people even still read Twilight fan fictions? I started this story a super long time ago and never got around to posting it. As you guys read the story in later chapters this will end up being an Embry and Bella story. If you aren't really into that then you probably shouldn't read it. Thanks for reading this! Lemme Know what you think.

Chapter One:

Flashback five years ago:

Bella was sitting on their log waiting for Jake to come back with their drinks. He insisted it was the gentleman thing to do since it was her graduation party at First Beach. Most of the pack had insisted on having it there, and insisted it even more in throwing it, she didn't really want one. She always hated being the center of attention, but this wasn't so bad. At least it was at the beach, and everyone was having a good time, and it wasn't really broadcasted it was all for her. She was lgady the pack members became her family. Accepted her for the way she dressed, and acted, not trying to change her like the Cullen's had once tried.

At the beginning the pack hated her because she dated the enemy. She didn't blame them for that. She understood where they were coming from. She can still remember the day she came to La Push to confront Jake and instead she slapped Paul. That's when their little secret was out, or their big secret depending on how you would look at it. After that Paul and her got along a little too well. He thought she had balls to go up to a group of over grown men and slap one in the face. Paul adopted her as the little sister he never had. Meaning he was over protective especially when Bella and Jake started to date. In the end it didn't matter Bella started falling for Jake. The heart wants what the heart wants is what Bella told Paul.

It helped that the Cullen's never resurfaced even when Victoria and her army of Newborns marched into a field looking for her. The pack defeated the vampires, and Victoria with no problem what so ever. Bella often wondered if the Cullen's even thought about her, or even thought about Victoria. She knew the answer of that, No they didn't think about Victoria, or Bella's safety.

Even Leah started becoming closer to Bella. Bella went to bat for her against the elders about letting Leah go to school for nurse practitioner. Bella explained how that could benefit the pack by having someone in the medical field on their side. After a while the elders had agreed with Sammy and Bella that Leah should be able to go and do what she wants. After that moment Leah and her became really good friends, almost inseparable. They were both helping each other apply to schools. At times it was like Jake was getting jealous at the amount of time Bella and Leah would spend together. It confused the pack more than anything how Bella was able to break down Leah's walls and become really good friends with her. Leah's attitude towards everything was changing too, sure she still didn't take crap from anyone but she was less of a bitch now.

Bella had decided to stay closer to Forks since Jake wouldn't be able to leave, since he still had his last year of high-school to complete. He already had so much responsibility and he hasn't even graduated school yet. He decided after high- school he would go to college for business,. He along with Quil and Embry wanted to open their own garage in La Push, that didn't rip off people. They even wanted to get their own tow truck. He has always been good at working on vehicles, it's the one thing he was really good at. He could figure out what was wrong with an engine and fix it better than most people who were a lot older than him. Eventually he would take over the tribe, and sooner he would take over the pack as the Alpha. He wanted to wait until he was graduated from high school before he took over the pack as the Alpha. Sam had also agreed it would be better for Jake to at least be eighteen before being responsible for a bunch of other people.

The pack was actually doing pretty well, it has been boring since they defeated Victoria's group of vampires. Emily and Bella had done a lot of baking fund raisers to help the pack achieve their dream. The elders gave the pack a large chunk of land, and they talked about it and wanted to build a huge house. The kitchen and living room would be big enough to hold the pack a lot more comfortable. There would be bedrooms for when the pack was running patrols and if they needed a place to crash. Sammy even had it in the plans for there to be a massive room that could hold all the pack members for their meetings.

The pack also got an anonymous large sum donation, Bella was pretty sure it was from the Cullen's but she didn't want to say anything just incase she was wrong. She figured Esme felt guilty for living so close to the tribe having triggered their gene to shift. It wouldn't fix most of them losing their childhood or teenage years but it helped them achieve the pack house they were building.

Bella looked around after waiting for ten minutes, Jake should be back already with their drinks. She didn't even see any of the pack members which started making her nervous maybe there was a trail of a vampire in the area. She was a supernatural magnet after all. Then she saw Jake standing close to a girl she had never seen before.

He didn't have any of their drinks in his hands, and she knew that look in his eyes. She has seen in so many times between the mated pack members. She saw it every single time Sammy came back from patrol the look he gave Emily, like he hadn't seen her in days when in reality it was just a few hours. She say it when Jared walked into a room and saw Kim. She saw it even when Paul first laid his eyes on Rachel after she came back.

Jake did the one thing he promised would never happen, he imprinted on the girl standing across from him. She was pretty standing there laughing at something Jake had said. She had perfectly curled hair, and Jake looked like he didn't have one care in the world. Bella felt her heart break. She knew this was always a possibility but she always hoped it would never happen. Bella made the quick decision to leave, and she also made the decision to go to school far away from the place that broke her heart twice.

End of flashback.

Bella wondered why she had agreed with her dad to come back to Forks. She loved New York, that is where she graduated from. Her dad found a place in Port Angeles that Bella could turn into her bakery. It had the right amount of traffic in the area, and she had a more of a chance of succeeding in Port Angeles than she would in New York.

She just hoped for the time being the pack wouldn't get word that she was back in Forks. She would have to stay at her dads house until the bakery was up and running. Her dad had talked to the construction workers, originally he was going hire Sam and them to do it but Bella was against it. She didn't want the pack to know she was here, and she had to remind her father for what felt like the millionth time not to tell the pack anything. Her dad never knew what really went down with Jake and Bella. Bella never felt the need to explain, she just told him that her and Jake broke up and she wanted to cut off La Push to make it easier on everyone.

Bella pulled into her fathers drive way and nothing changed. The cruiser was still parked there she doubted her father would ever retire from the police force. He had cut down his hours a little bit, and he planned to cut them down a little bit more to help Bella getting the bakery up and running. Her dad had been bossing the constructing workers around for two weeks making sure they stayed on schedule and wasn't wasting their time.

She pulled her suitcase out of the care, and started walking towards the front door. She would need to get a car, and return the rental car. She opened the door and was surprised that the inside looked different. She remembers him telling her Sammy and the boys helped with remodeling the house. She saw her dad sitting on the couch watching the latest baseball game.

"Hey dad," Bella greeted as she shut the front door.

"Bells," he jumped up puling her into a hug. Over the years they had gotten a lot closer, he flew to New York a lot to see her since she refused to come back home. " I was hoping you would want to go grab dinner somewhere, or we can order dinner?"

Bella smiled, " I could eat, and I'd like to see the bakery if that is okay?"

"Great, you ready?" he asked.

She nodded and he handed him the rental keys. She didn't feel like driving anymore. They made their way to the rental car and started the drive to Port Angeles. He decided to stop at the bakery before going to get some food.

Bella walked into the bakery and smiled. It was exactly how she pictured it. The walls were a light grey and the floors were super pretty. She smiled when she saw the display counter and the cash register was already there. "Dad, this is basically done, how did you get them to do it so quick?"

He smiled, " Because I'm the police chief of Forks, I don't mess around. Even the back where you do the baking is done. The tables are being delivered tomorrow, and I figured you probably want to be in the news paper or somewhere that you are looking for a counter person to help you out. I have a suggestion to that but I don't think you are going like it. Emily is looking for work, I know you don't want people to know you are back but you two use to be friends."

"I don't think that's a good idea. Not with Sammy and Jake being close, it's easier this way if they don't know anything about me. It's easier for everyone I don't want to cause issues in La Push," she spoke hoping her father dropped the topic.

"Listen Kiddo, I don't know what happened between you and Jake. It's not my business but Jake just hasn't been the same since you left. He started dating a girl, and I'm not going lie they are married now. There is a lot of tension in La Push with a lot of the guys now. His new wife has been making his life a lot harder. He never went to school, he is working a lot to be able to afford the place they are renting. Rachel and Paul moved in with Billy to help Billy. Jake's wife is really hard to deal with. She doesn't work, Emily, Leah, Kim and her don't get along. Rachel and her are constantly fighting," her dad spoke. Bella was surprised.

"What do you mean? Why would everyone not like Jake's wife?" she asked confused. That is his imprint, how could they all not get along?

"She comes from a wealthy family. She's use to getting her own way, I've meet her a few times and she's always been condescending. I've seen her try to put Leah down for waiting to be a nurse practitioner. Of course Leah isn't one to let anyone try to tell her something. She put the girl in her place, but that only caused more issues," her dad spoke.

"Dad, there is a lot you don't know and I don't feel comfortable or want to talk about it," she whispered.

"I know. I know everything that you don't want to say. Billy told me years ago why you left. I know that the boys and Leah included are wolves. I know what the Cullen's are, and I figured out why you left. Jake imprinted on that girl at your party, didn't he?" he asked.

"Wait, you have known all this time?" she asked. "You never said anything. If you knew why I left why didn't you say something?"

"I just figured you didn't want to talk about it. So now that I know, you going tell me why you cut out everyone. You know the whole pack and their imprints beside Amber, ask about you all the time. Paul said he misses his little sister but he understands why you had to leave. I think you should know something else and you are probably going be mad. This got done so quick because I hired the pack. Amber didn't let Jake help," her dad spoke.

Bella stared at him for a moment unsure what to reply. She knows she should be mad, but she isn't so much. "So they know I'm back? That this bakery is going be mine? That makes sense on why you want Emily working here. Are you sure they don't hate me after what I did. I left, changed my number, I never once contacted any of them, I wanted to but I didn't."

"No we aren't mad at you baby sister, we are hurt, and I understand why you did it, but it doesn't mean I liked it. I'm just glad you are finally back," Paul said. Bella turned around to see the whole pack walking out of the kitchen. Paul pulled her into a hug. "I swear if you ever pull this shit again where you up and leave, I promise you I will find you. I won't let you run off. I beat the shit out of Jake when I realized what happened."

Bella was trying not to cry as she was being crushed by Paul. " I'm still human, Pauly. Can you loosing your grip please?"

"You know B, next time I'll be kicking your ass if you up and leave all of us," Leah came up next. "I understand more than anyone else how you feel. I know you had to get away, but I hate that you didn't tell me. I would have left with you." Leah had her in a hug.

"I thought it would be easier for everyone if I wasn't in the picture. Jake imprinted on someone who wasn't me, and I didn't want to make things awkward for the pack. I didn't want sides to be picked if I stayed this way I left and the hate could be on me, and not on Jake who couldn't control it," she spoke as she wiped her eyes. She hated she let the tears escape.

"The girl he imprinted on made it easier for us to hate her than anyone else," Leah muttered.

"The plan always was Jake, Quil and I open the garage, Wolfy Garage. That didn't happened. Jake didn't end up going to school after he graduated. Amber wanted them to move into the nice place in La Push and in order for him to do that, he needed to work his ass off. He never has stepped up as Alpha. He works for Quil and I at the garage we opened, and he works for Sam and does stuff for the Elders," Embry spoke. "You have no idea how much I missed you."

Bella blushed as Embry pulled her into a hug, not use to him being so open. Next up was Sammy.

"You have always been a huge throne in my side. Since day one when Paul, Jare and I found you in the woods. After finding you I have always felt protective of you. You have no idea how hard it was for me to command all these idiots not to search for you. They tried to fight it. Just like Paul looks at you as an adopted baby sister, so do I, even though you drive me crazy. You are the only person who gets away with the Sammy name. The others run laps. You ever try to leave here without telling us we will find you and drag you back kicking and screaming," Sam said.

"Don't worry, I'm here for good now. Where is that gorgeous girl of yours?" Bella asked.

"Right here," Emily spoke as the pack moved out of the way.

Bella pulled her into a hug, "I hear you might be interested in working with me here. I would be honored if you wanted too, your muffins were always way better than mine."

Emily smiled, "I'd love too."

"Hey what about my cookies?" Kim asked.

Bella laughed, "Have they gotten better since the last time we made them? When you used salt instead of sugar?"

Kim shook her head, " No pretty sure I got worse."

"I am going need someone to work the cash register and get people the sweets they want. It's yours if you want it," Bella suggested.

"Sold, I can do that. Thank god, it will get us away from Amber for a little bit. She is awful to be near. Hopefully with us working here she won't randomly show up," Kim spoke.

"Hey Jay," Bella said smiling. "Did you graduate for accounting? "

"Come here you brat. I swear I could shave your head while you sleep for making me have to deal with the females crying over you leaving," he said pulling her into a hug.

" You cried too," Paul answered.

"Ignore them, obviously I didn't cry. I'm the manly of manliest men in this place. Yes, I have graduated, I helped Em, and Sammy, why you looking for help too?" He asked.

She nodded, "Yes, but if you have too much going on I can look into someone else."

"Please, I can handle yours too. I don't mind things are boring in La Push, not much vamp activity," he answered.

"Hey Sexy lady, I want my hug," Quil shouted pushing Jared out of the way.

"I see you haven't changed much, still a perv," she smiled hugging him back.

" Where's Sethy, Brady and Col?" Bella asked looking around.

"La Push, we left them mostly because we didn't want to deal with Amber asking where we were going. She would have tagged along even though none of us wanted her," Leah answered.

Bella couldn't believe they weren't super mad at her. She couldn't believe they decided to meet her at the bakery, or that most of them agreed to work here with her. She couldn't believe they were hugging her, and not screaming at her.

What do you guys think do you want me to post the rest of the story?
