September Skies

Dew drop immersions
The flicker of the lingering dream
Echoing within conscious desertions
The golden gleam
Forgotten? Gone?
Waves of hell fire red
Lap on memories edge
Sensations lusciously fed
Teething the mind's emerge
What is this shimmering?
Flickering twilight
Striking ethereal collision
Fair and bright
Clearing once cloudy vision
What is missing? What is aching?
A voice rough and tender
Reverberating, hauntingly, and sad
Notes, drowning into sweet asunder
A sudden aching of what should have been had
'...yumemi…'
Fragments of time, scarring
Emptiness returns
The forgotten stirring
The voice rings, burns

The inspiration behind this sad little piece was the song "I Miss You" by Incubus. I rewatched the tv series and yet again tortured myself with Munto and Yumemi being ripped apart.
I would adore seeing an anime music video to Munto with that song but perhaps with time, I will teach myself how to make them.
