Chapter 1!
Four Months Earlier:
Addettee giggled as Gavner Purl, a vampire general, danced around their bed room in yellow with little pink elephants boxers. Addettee March, the younger sister of Vancha March, was a blonde whose eyes were the color of sterling silver mixed with little golden flecks in them. Adde, as she was more known, was training to become a general just like Gavner was now. Adde and Gavner had met when Larten Creepsley, a friend of Gavner's, had tripped her and Adde went crashing towards the floor, but before she could face plant into the dirt ground Gavner shot out of his seat and caught her.
"Gavner…..That's……Funny" she managed out between giggles. Adde watched him some more then buried her face into Gavner's pillow to try to muffle her laughter, and then she rolled over and sat up.
"Addette," Gavner said looking at her with love sprinkled in his eyes. Adde looked up to show she acknowledged him. "I love you" he said kissing her forehead. Adde replied with her own 'I love you too' then kissed Gavner's nose.
Back In 2007; Vampire Mountain [Adde's POV
I stood there watching Kurda's irrigation. My eyes were full of hate, distrust, and slight mercy. He had killed him. Kurda Smahlt had killed the main man in my life, Gavner Purl. He killed him in straight cold blood. For that, I hated him. Yet, the sympathy wouldn't die within me. I spaced out until the Princes asked what the people thought, and, I, Addette March, stepped forward. "May I have permission to speak my lords?" I asked curtsying as graceful as ever.
"Request Accepted" Mika Van Leathe said giving me a hopeful smile.
"I wish to propose another way" I said gulping. "For Kurda had some help…….from me" I told the princes truthfully. Gasps arose from behind me. "I'm half vampaneze, my mother raised me that way" I continued. Arrow, a bald Prince, glared at me evilly.
"No!" Kurda yelled out looking at me. "Adde had nothing to do with this she just told me were the vampaneze were" he told the princes then stopped.
