I remember the feeling as they fell
I remember the kneeling as they went in the direction of Hell
I remember the look in their faces
It was if they'd been hit with maces
The crunch of their bones and the blossom of blood
Was as cruel to watch as cutting a flower bud
They fell to their deaths because of sabotaged ropes
That night nearly ridded me of all my hopes
They were gone forever and I was alone
They were my last family and home
Now I fly through the night
Villains I fight
But I'll never forget that day
When the ropes failed to sway
And I lost the only parents of mine
As I watched them die at the age of nine

That turned out better than I thought. I'm glad I remembered it and I hope you enjoyed it.
