The first time Eames wakes up with Arthur tucked under the same duvet, he really really really needs his totem.
Because if this is real, damn, he doesn't want to dream ever again. And it is.
So he stares and stares until he's quite sure the sight has burned in his pupils. Because this Arthur is real, he himself is real, they are real. And it's better than any other reality he has ever had, either through PASIV' dreams or his own dreams.
So he relaxes against his mattress again, because it can't get better than that.
