OK, so I was watching "Huffin' and Puffin" This afternoon and decided to write a short story about it. If you haven't seen that episode yet, then...

This random puffin named Hans comes and tries to befriend Skipper, when all he really wanted to do was to kick Skipper out so he could have a place to live. Hans is basically the reason Skipper has been banished from DENMARK. At the end of it, Private asks Skipper what actually happened in Copenhagen, and Skipper tells him it's classified, and to get his own secret life. So here's a silly story about Private getting his own 'Secret Life'...

Private woke up earlier than the rest of the penguins on warm summer morning, and he hurried outside to enjoy the day.

He smelled some flowers and hung out with Fred in the park for a while. He took some popcorn from a passing cart and then shared it with his squirrel friend. He befriended some other birds, then went back to the zoo.
He stopped by the chimp's habitat (Because it was tea-time) And had some tea with his friends. The talked lightly and then he went over to Marlene's for lunch.

Private had lunch with Marlene, and then they told jokes and swam for a while. Then they talked about the strange incident yesterday with the puffin visiting, and then she showed Private the dart she'd kept for a souvenir. She commented on how disappointing it was that they couldn't have had a party, and then they made party plans for an imaginary celebration.

"Do you know anything about what happened in Denmark?" Marlene inquired.

"No, I don't," Private told her. "But we should go sometime, ask the government, and tour the place while we're there." Marlene told him how she'd always wanted to go to see the mermaid statue, and how she was sure that had nice food in Denmark. Private suggested that they go tomorrow.

He visited the lemurs to see just what other crazy ideas they had thought up lately. Mort was still playing with the cell phone and Maurice was attempting to teach Julien how to play with a Yo-Yo(-yo). Private left.

Private went to the gorilla habitat where they shared a snack and played poker together.

Private then went to where the penguins stored there transportation stuff and fueled up the newly-repaired plane. It would need to be ready if he was still going to take Marlene with him to Denmark tomorrow.

Then he returned home.

He found an atlas in one of the classified boxes (which he was allowed to look in now) and began studying Denmark closely. He found out some nice spots to visit in Copenhagen, where he decided to go the next day, but nothing about Skipper being banished from there.

Eventually the other penguins came home as well.
"Private! Where have you been all day?" Skipper demanded of his littlest friend.

"I can't tell you," Private replied simply.

"Of course you can. I am ORDERING you to tell me where you've been!"
"But then I would be defying orders," Private said.

Skipper looked completely stupefied. "What?"
"Well, you told me yesterday to get my own 'secret life', because you wouldn't tell me what happened in Denmark, so I did. So if I told you, it wouldn't be a secret life anymore."

Skipper stomped away muttering something about how he needed to slap Private more…

Then Private packed up some things to take on his trip and joined another game of poker with Kowalski and Rico. Marlene came over and beat them all three times, then they shared a snack and went to bed.
