I do not own Gundam Wing.
Remember to Review.
Lonely darkness.
Biting cold.
Voices, I could hear voices, faint echoing voices.
Voices I could hear, but faces I couldn't see.
I can't see anything. I can't feel anything.
The cold numbed my senses and it bit into my skin.
I can't move, I feel if I tried my skin would chip off in layers of ice and flesh.
Shivering I stay huddled in the corner of the dark cell, trying to gain lost body heat.
It wasn't working. My body has been in this cell for far too long. The time has stretched and I can no longer tell what day it is, or how long I have been stuck here. Light has not laid upon my skin for what feels like eternity.
Trapped like a caged animal, beaten and bruised.
The voices have silenced, and I'm left alone with my own shallow breathing as comfort. I try to bring my knees closer to my chest and my wrap my arms around them tighter, but my strength has left me. I lay on my side.
I was sent on an easy task to retrieve information from Antarctica Base. Documents that tell makings of new mobile suits deep within the ice of it's very own continent, Antarctica. Preventers just needed proof before brain storming a plan of action.
I was caught, and stored like tomorrows lunch meat.
The pain that I've endured, it fogs my brain. Ribs scream with movement, one or two are broken. Wounds no longer bleed, but blood has crusted over the skin.
I started to drift.
Drifting, drifting from reality. Drifting from the dark, drifting from the pain, and the misery.
Drifting from time.
Drifting from life.
"Heero." A whisper, almost silent, like a lullaby, a soothing voice saying my name. From where?
"Heero!" Sharp, outrages shout.
My vision blurs when my eyes snap open, bright, it hurts… a blurry figure… an open door… who?
I can't see well… the worlds fading away again. Drifting.
"Heero, wake up! Wake up damn it, you can't sleep now!"
An order, but it's too late. I can feel myself… slipping….
A pain, sharp pain to my cheek. My eyes burst open, gasping. Defense, hands up blocking my face. Pain.
"No, it's okay. Heero, it's okay. Just, just stay awake, ya hear?" Warm hands around my wrists, pulling my frozen arms down.
"'o?" I gasped.
"yes Heero, it's Duo. C'mon, we gotta get you outta here."
"Ay"
Drooping eyes, darkness.. and the smell of lilacs and Duo's warmth.
"Heero… Heero…"
Duo….
