Esme finally did it, she finally left and in doing so, she left her past...
she has Carlisle now, her savior he is the only thing she needs now.
No longer will she linger on her past, when her future is shinning in-
front of her. Yes there are times when her heart hurts, but then she remebers she has Carlisle now, and that Charlie can no longer hurt her.
"Esme," Carlisle said as he walked into the room, bringing her out of her musing. "Are you alright, you seemed to be in deep thought?"
Carlisle asked, while gently holding her.
"I'm alright, I was just thinking about how I'm finally free, and able to be with you." She said as she turned around in his arms.
Smiling softly, Carlisle observed her for a moment. She was just a new born, but that took none of her original beauty, it in fact intensified.
Her hair was still the same chestnut brown it had been in life, her eyes that had once been a beautiful shade of brown, were now a haunting shade of red. But within the next two weeks should turn a golden honey color.
Then there were her lips, which were just as beautiful as they were in life,-kissable too- her skin had lost it's pink hue, but that didn't matter, she was still his beautiful wife, he would always think that.
"I will always love you Ezzy." Carlisle said with as much love and devotion he could put into words.
"I know 'lisle, I love you too." Esme said gently as she kissed her husband lightly.
"You know, we have all of forever; so what do you want to do,
Mrs. Cullen?" He asked with a smirk.
"You could teach me how to swim. When I was little, Mother thought it was practically taboo, so I never really learned."
She suggested, as she got out of her husbands arms.
In a blink of a human eye, she was standing back infront of him in a purple string bikini.
"Alright, run with me to the river on the East side of the forest."
He was out of the house before he even finished his sentence.
Esme smiled and thought, "I'm married to a wonderful person,
I really am happy now."
