Daddy's Girl

James' P.O.V:

Me and Sydney were just getting comfortable in our beds, when we heard our 6 month old daughter, Kathrine , crying. I heard Sydney groan and begin to roll out of bed to get the crying infant.

"Lay back down. I'll go get her"

And with that she laid back down and rolled over. I smiled to myself, got up and headed towards Kathrine's room.

I walked up to her cribbed and she almost instantly. She smiled and stood up in the crib, leaning against the railing for support. I couldn't stop myself from smiling. She is just so cute! I picked her up and gently rocked her back and forth, trying to get her back to sleep, but she was wide awake. I started to wonder if she was hungry, so i went to the kitchen, with little Kathrine still in my arms, and made a bottle and walked back to her room. I sat in the rocking chair in the corner and tried to feed her, but she kept refusing the bottle. I was beginning to feel frustrated.

"What else could this child possibly want!?" i thought to myself

Than I thought she might need i diaper change.

"Wouldn't she be like, really fussy if she needed one?"

I started to wonder if I should bother to check or not, but then I decided to do it, so I wouldn't have to do it later. I checked her diaper and it was clean. I tried almost everything I could thing of, and she still won't go to sleep. I tried rocking her some more but she was still wide awake.

"Kathrine. Please go to sleep. For daddy?"I practically begged. i was tired.

She looked up at me and laughed. I got and up and walked over to the crib. I laid her down gently and started to leave the room.

"Night, baby girl."

I turned out the light and began walking down the hallway. I was almost to the room when she started crying again. I let out a sigh and walked back to the room.

"What, baby girl?"I asked in a very tired voice.

She leaned against the crib railing and stood there smiling. I walked over and picked her up. She seemed pretty content while holding her, and looked as if she could fall asleep any minute. So, i put her back in the crib, hoping she was asleep. I tried letting go, but she wouldn't. "Great" I though to myself. I pulled her off me and began walking out the room again, only to hear her cry again. I figured if she only sleeps while shes with me, i might as well just sleep in the crib with her. I sighed and picked her up and walked out of the room to get a blanket. When I returned to the room, I placed her in the crib first and climbed in myself. I laid down trying to get situated. Kathrine's face lite up with happiness and snuggled in close to me. It was so cute! I love my baby girl.

Sydney's P.O.V:

I woke up at nearly 3 in the morning. I stretched out to reach for James, but he was there. I sat up and looked around the room.

"Where is he? It's nearly 3 in the morning and she woke up 4 hours ago!"

I got up and looked for him. He was in the bathroom, wasn't in the living room, wasn't in the kitchen. I went to Kathrine's room to see if her accidentally fell asleep in the rocking chair. He tends to do that sometimes. I walked into the room and still no James! I figured since I was there I might as well check on Kathrine. I walked up to the crib and found James sleeping and Kathrine clinging to him.

"Oh my God..."

I ran out of the room as fast and as quietly as i could to grab my phone. I ran back and took dozens of pictures. It looked so cute!

"This is going on twitter... :)"
