AN; this is my first House MD fic I hope its OK it has a very sci-fi/fantasy theme and there won't be any house until chapter 4 and as the chapters won't be too long and I spend to much time writing and thinking about writing fan fiction the gap won't be large.

I was like you once; I could walk down a street and think it was a perfectly normal day. I could walk into a super market and pick up some washing up liquid or a bunch of bananas and not worry that my world would change, but that was before…
I really should start from the beginning. From the bus trip, the text book and the stranger that changed everything.

It started off like a normal day. I didn't live near school. When my dad got posted from place to place we generally took the house that came with the promotion to save money, so it was a good 20 minute journey to school.
As soon as I turned 13, mum gave me a bus pass and I took the bus from the bus stop by the rugby field. It would have been a normal day with nothing different if the bus were actually there. I turned around to look at the bus stop further down to see if I was late and the bus was there. It wasn't. Suddenly there was a gust up wind up the back of my uniform and there suddenly, impossibly was a bus.
It wasn't my usual one, it was black with a neon blue anime eye on the side, the windows were blacked out and I could smell a forest berries smell coming from inside (like the candles from ikea!). The doors opened and I stepped inside. It was empty except for the large comfy looking black seats. The driver was hidden behind another piece of blacked out glass. I got worried. This most definitely was not my bus!
"Urm… excuse me, does this bus go to Southbridge Community College?"
"This bus goes where you are needed most," The voice that floated out from the small holes in the glass was so bass and deep it made feel like my feet were vibrating. "And I think you'll need this."
A textbook slid out from a small gap at the bottom of the gap. It was an additional science one like the one in my bag. It was heavier than mine with a black stripe in marker pen across the cover. I sat down in one of the black seats as there door had closed and there was nothing I could do. I opened the textbook. The pages were the same as they were in mine until I got to a section entitled "Space and Time Physics. One of the pages had a corner turned over; I sat back and started reading…
