Looking At Life Through My Own Eyes
Ch.1
A Brighter Day
Boring. That was all it was. Being the youngest NCIS agent, a trained profiler, owning a gun, and being bored were four things that never went together. You started reading people, You started finding stuff out about people you could have lived with out knowing and the gun. The gun was never a good thing to have around when your bored ever. I had learned that one from Tony.
"GEAR UP!" I heard Gibbs yell as he walked out of MTAC on the second floor.
"Yes Boss." Tony said as he grabbed his gun and his backpack.
"Yeah Uncle Gibbs." I said rolling my eyes as I grabbed my gun and backpack.
I somehow knew that this was linked to my past and linked to Mossad. It always was.
"Shotgun." I said feebly as we got to the truck. I never knew why I said it cause Tony always let me have the passenger seat anyways. I guess it just came as a habit.
"Whatever Liz." Tony said as he climbed in the back.
"Gibbs. Its linked to me isn't it?" I said looking Gibbs in the face.
"Yeah. I'm sorry Liz." Gibbs said never taking his eyes of the road.
We got to the crime scene. I remember just looking at poor Naval Officer and her daughter and running. I ran for miles never stopping. I wasn't going to be questioned by NCIS one more time. No matter what my past, no matter who my father was, no matter what. I was on their side. I finally stopped on the side of a main road. I had about twenty bucks on me. Enough for me to get dinner. I had my cell on me but thank god it was almost dead. They couldn't track me if it wasn't on or if it was dead. All though I was sure that they had already started tracking my phone. Just to be on the safe side I turned it off. I made a promise to my self that I would never go back. Ever.
NCIS
(McGee POV)
"I lost her boss." I said as I lost the tracking on Liz's phone.
"Well find her!" Gibbs practically yelled at me.
"It looks like she turned her phone off. Unless she turns it back on I won't be able to find her." I said trying my hardest to explain in words Gibbs would understand.
"Whatever McGee." Gibbs said. You could tell he was irritated by Liz. Her past could get her killed easily. Although she had confided in me quote often about how she hated her past and how every case linked to Mossad was linked to her. How she hated being interrogated for answers she never had.
"Found her boss!" I said as she turned her phone back on. "She's at Hemingway and Main." I yelled as Gibbs looked expectantly at me.
"C'mon! Why the hell are you sitting there?" Gibbs said back as I grabbed my gun.
Tony grabbed his gun and looked like he was ready to kill Liz. Then again I think I was too at the point of time.
