KYA FEELS FUNNY
"You know," Kya drawled, "All this business with Korra and Asami has got me thinking."
"Oh, here we go," Lin rolled her eyes and took a huge gulp of wine.
Kya continued, "So, we've known each other our whole lives."
"No," Lin answered quickly.
"Maybe we're missing an opportunity here."
"Uh-uh."
"And we don't even know it."
"No, I'm pretty sure I know that we're not missing anything."
"Come on, Lin! Where's your sense of adventure?"
Lin growled. That's how Kya always got her to do things. "You're drunk!"
"So are you!" Kya argued. "All the better!"
"Oh, for crying out loud! If I do it, will you go away?"
Kya grinned wickedly. "Depends on how good it is," she teased.
Lin groaned.
"Come on!" Kya insisted!
"Alright, alright!" Lin conceded with an annoyed huff of air.
Kya was grinning.
Lin was grimmacing.
"How can I kiss you when you look so disgusted right now?" Kya crossed her arms over her chest.
Lin wanted this to just be over with, so groaning some more, she closed her eyes and tried to relax her face. It was the best she could do.
Kya leaned slowly toward Lin, and when their lips were a mere hairs' breadth apart, Kya began to snigger uncontrollably.
Lin let out a relieved sigh. "Oh, thank heavens!" she exclaimed as Kya continued to laugh. "Get outta here, you freak!" Lin shoved Kya away, then used earthbending to force her to stand up and nudge her back toward the wedding party.
Kya laughed merrily as she walked away. She loved messing with Lin. That girl was too serious!
