Hey everyone!
So this isn't a true story, but it could be. I have a challenge for anyone interested. An idea for a story is: It starts off when Miley is little, just when her mom is diagnosed with Cancer (I'm not sure how she died in the series or what age Miley was, but she's a lot younger in the beginning) and she just gets the news that her best friend in the whole world Jacob Ryan is moving away to be an extra in a movie (that he doesn't know will sky rocket his career). He leaves promising to stay in touch and that everything will be fine…but it's not. Soon he stops emailing her because a scout saw him as an extra and wants him to be a movie star so he has no time. Miley's mother dies and she becomes Hannah Montanna to keep herself occupied.
Then Jake Ryan (changed from Jacob) comes to school and Miley (who hasn't told Oliver or Lily about knowing him before (cause it might make others suspicious as to how she knows a famous star)) is excited that her best friend is back…only to find that he's completely changed and doesn't even really remember her (I don't know why, maybe he always called her Smiley and didn't make the connection between that and Miley). And that's the true reason why she hates him so much.
The challenge is the story of how Jake tries to win Miley's affection while Miley battles her own emotions. Will Jake remember his childhood friend? (Though hints? Nicknames? Recollection of favorite foods that the magazines say he's allergic to? I have no idea.) How would he remember? How will he react when he realizes that he has grown so far from his previous life where friends mattered more? How will he react when he finds that Miley's mother died and he wasn't there for her?
