Cherry Blossom

It was spring and Sakura was sitting on her porch, watching the cherry blossoms, waiting for them to bloom. Some of the petals flew away in the breeze and into the sky. So she just sat…waiting. A figure in the distance walked up closer. His dark silver hair blew in the gentle breeze as he sat down next to her.
"Sakura-chan…"
"Please…Yukito, don't use that honorific…I'm not little anymore…"
"Heh…but to me…"
"Yes?"
The cherry blossoms seemed to sigh, anxious to bloom. The clouds drifted about and the sun warmed all within its reach. Yukito sighed.
"…but to me, you will always be my little cherry blossom, Sakura."
"Yu…Yukito…"
A tear fell shining in the sun. It was not filled with sadness, but hope, and love. And in the next moment, when he kissed her, everything didn't matter. Not even the sun. She did not need it anymore. She had him.
"Look Yukito…the cherry blossoms are in bloom."
"They are blooming for you, Sakura, the most beautiful cherry blossom of them all."
The sun shone bright, the grass seemed greener, and the cherry blossoms looked happy for their daughter, Sakura.

Author's Note: This was a simple, short story about Sakura and Yukito because I think they make the cutest couple :) and I'm a huge fan of Cardcaptors. I hope you liked it.
